Getting started
What is PGBILL?
PGBILL is billing and studio management software for photographers, videographers and wedding studios. It keeps client bookings, event dates, payments, expenses and PDF bills in one place, on the Android app and on pgbill.in.
Is PGBILL free?
Yes, you can start and use the main features for free. Free accounts see ads. On the website an optional Premium plan is available that removes ads and unlocks extra conveniences; its price and validity are shown before you pay.
Do I need a laptop?
No. Everything works on an Android phone. The website is useful if you prefer a bigger screen at the studio, and it uses the same account and data.
Is the app available in Hindi?
Yes. The whole app can be switched between English and Hindi from the language option.
Data and backup
Does PGBILL work without internet?
On the Android app your records are saved on the phone first, so you can add bookings and payments at a venue without network. When the internet is back, changes are backed up and synced to your account.
What happens if I lose or change my phone?
Sign in on the new phone with the same account. Your cloud backup is restored automatically.
I deleted an entry by mistake. Can I get it back?
Yes. Deleted entries stay in the Recycle Bin for 30 days and can be restored from there.
Can two people use the same account?
You can sign in on more than one device. Avoid editing the same booking on two devices at exactly the same time, because the last saved change wins.
Who can see my client data?
Only your account. Data travels over encrypted connections and is protected by security rules so other users cannot read it. We do not sell personal data. See the Privacy Policy.
Bills and PDFs
Can I add my logo to bills?
Yes. Upload your logo and fill in your studio details in the profile. They appear at the top of every PDF along with clickable Instagram and WhatsApp links.
How do I send a bill to my client?
Open the booking, tap PDF and choose WhatsApp, email or any other app to share it.
Why does the PDF button sometimes show an ad?
On free accounts a short ad may appear before the PDF is created. This keeps PGBILL free. Please keep ad blockers and private DNS ad filters off, otherwise the PDF may not open.
Account
How do I delete my account?
Open Profile and choose Delete account, or contact us. Your cloud data is then removed as described in the Privacy Policy.
I cannot log in. What should I do?
Check that the date and time on your phone are correct and that you are using the same Google account or email you signed up with. If it still fails, contact us with your registered email and a screenshot of the error.
